Red Rocks

One of our favorite new traditions since we moved to Denver is waking up before dawn and making the trip to Red Rocks for some sunrise exercise. The venue is inspiring – partially because of its natural beauty and partially because there are always plenty of other Denverites running up and down the stairs, jumping from row to row, and doing any number of other exercises that reqiure nothing other than what the venue naturally provides and a little imagination.

Yesterday we headed to Red Rocks with Kate and Ollie in tow. It was a great morning (planned before we decided to go to Great Divide Brewery the night before…yet somehow we were till on the road at 5:30 AM).

Mike & Ollie in action.

Kate, Mike & Ollie heading down to the bottom for another lap.

Meg took these pictures. That’s right, 25 weeks pregnant and still climbing stairs at 6500 feet. This girl is a stud.
